I’m Tammy “TK” Kinney – a mom, grandma, wife, daughter, and night-shift worker who went through a rough cochlear implant experience.

I got the implant hoping for better hearing. Instead, I developed pain, odd symptoms, and spent years trying to get answers. After a long fight, the implant was removed, and I’m still sorting through what happened.

I created this website to:

• share my story from implant to explant
• show the symptoms and red flags I experienced
• help others know what to ask before making big medical decisions

I’m not a doctor. I’m just a patient who kept records and refused to stay quiet.
